چکیده

Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR or PAR) is main problem of Orthogonal FrequencyDivision Multiplexing. The Classical Clipping method is focused in this paper for reduction ofPAR using different modulation techniques. Through the Analysis, it is shown that Clippingusing QPSK is better than BPSK.ReferencesH.G. A Comparison of Different Papr Reduction Techniques in Ofdm Using Various Modulations

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is one of the Strong candidate for Transmission of high data rate due to Multicarrier Modulation. One of the challenging Issue of OFDM is its high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR or PAR). This Paper discusses different PAPR Reduction techniques in OFDM. The Classical Clipping, Selective Mapping, Tone reservation and Partial Transmit sequence T...

Performance Analysis of Ofdm by Using Different Clipping Techniques

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has become the popular modulation technique in high speed wireless communications. One of the main disadvantages of Orthogonal Frequency Division multiplexing (OFDM) is its high Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR), which significantly reduces the efficiency of the High Power Amplifier (HPA). Due to the simplest way for PAPR reduction, clipping te...

Evaluation of BER and PAPR by using Different Modulation Schemes in OFDM System

There are various issues related to OFDM such as dispersion (ICI), external interference (crosstalk) and nonlinearities (PAPR). OFDM suffers from a high Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR), caused by the addition of a large number of independently modulated sub-carriers in parallel at the transmitter. When subject to a non-linear power amplifier, these signals may undergo significant spectral di...

Reduction of PAPR of OFDM Signal by SLM and Clipping Techniques Using RS Codes

Multicarrier modulations have become broadened and Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) has been widely implemented in high speed digital modulations. OFDM is a multicarrier transmission technique which divides the available spectrum into many carriers, each one being modulated by a low rate data stream. One major disadvantages of OFDM is that the time domain OFDM signal which is a...

Performance Improvement of OFDM System Using Iterative Signal Clipping With Various Window Techniques for PAPR Reduction

OFDM signals demonstrates high fluctuations termed as Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR).The problem of OFDM is the frequent occurrence of high Peaks in the time domain signal which in turn reduces the efficiency of transmit high power amplifier. In this paper we discussed clipping and filtering technique which is easy to implement and reduces the amount of PAPR by clipping the peak of the maxim...
